Erick Nelson

DRIVELINE PROGRAM DIRECTOR AND PITCHING INSTRUCTOR

Since leaving the Atlanta Braves organization in 1998, I have had the opportunity to coach at the college, high school and youth levels. I have vast experience and successes as a head coach, but prefer to focus on training and developing pitching talent. Some of my greatest accomplishments have been developing high school pitchers who can complete aggressively at the college level. My training philosophy is to 1) focus on proper mechanics for arm strength, health and longevity, 2) train in the art of strategic assessment of batters tendencies and weaknesses, and 3) mentally develop pitchers to be resilient during times of success and struggles.
