Tony Manville is from New Lenox, IL and went to Mt. Carmel High School in Chicago. After high school, Tony went on to play collegiate baseball at the University of Iowa as a pitcher. He spent two seasons there and then transferred to Northern Illinois University where he still holds the single season wins record (9).
After college, Tony jumped right into coaching at Robert Morris University in Chicago. He has spent the past three years there as the Associate Head Coach/ Recruiting Coordinator, while handling all aspects of the pitching staff. His staff led the conference in ERA and numerous other statistics all three seasons.
Along with coaching at RMU, Tony is now in his third season as a coach (1st as Head Coach) for the Waterloo Bucks in the prestigious Northwoods League. He led the best pitching staff in the league in 2013 and helped guide the Bucks to the winningest record ever in any collegiate summer league at 51-19. He is also in his third year as an Associate Scout with the Miami Marlins.
Tony has a Bachelor's Degree in History and a Master's Degree in Management and Sports Administration. He is married to wife Jessalyn.
