Hit Dawg Summer Team

Team Hit Dawg Spring/Summer 2021

Tryouts for our Hit Dawg Spring/Summer Teams (ages 10U- 2022 Graduates) will be held on the following dates:

~Friday March 12th at 5:30 PM
~Friday March 19th at 5:00 PM
~Friday March 26th at 5:00 PM

**Additional times will be added, if needed, until we have the rosters filled. If you can’t make any of these times, please contact Shawn Wooten at hitdawgacademy@hotmail.com to schedule a separate tryout.

**Players will only need to sign up for & attend one tryout date. All tryouts will be at the Hit Dawg Facility in Plymouth.

Teams will be announced once the rosters are full.

Tournament Schedule will be released when team is finalized. We will schedule tournaments that do not conflict with Spring/Summer Association baseball team schedules. Over half the summer tournaments will be local. Most of the tournaments will be within driving distance. Team Registration includes tournament entry fees and uniforms (We are sponsored by Adidas this year.) All travel expenses (hotel, transportation, and food) is not included it the Team Registration.

Academy Practices

~Weekly Team Practices (Including hitting sessions with former MLB player and MLB hitting coach Shawn Wooten)

~College Advising

~Strength, Conditioning and Speed Program

~Team Registration Pricing will be comparable with other Club Travel Teams. It will be dependent on the number of tournaments we play in. There will be no hidden or surprise expenses.

~Shawn Wooten will be running and overseeing the teams. Each team will have a head coach. Practices, line ups, and all the other intangibles will be set and run by Shawn.
